Investor candidates who demonstrate, by means of a test recognized by the Ministère, that they have an advanced intermediate knowledge of French, will receive priority treatment (shorter processing times), are not subject to the quota restriction and can submit their application at any time.

The tests recognized by the MIDI are:

• Test de connaissance du français pour le Québec (TCFQ)
• Test de connaissance de français (TCF)
• Test d’évaluation du français adapté pour le Québec (TEFAQ)
• Test d’évaluation du français (TEF)
• Diplôme d’études en langue française (DELF)
• Diplôme approfondi de langue française (DALF)
